Role and responsibilities
Execution of Waste Handling lots (cost, quality, schedule responsibility) under Equipment & Packages Engineering Manager coordination Coordination and delivery of Concept and Basic Engineering, including internal/external interface management Preparation of technical specifications for procurement packages (waste reception, storage, feeding systems, waste cranes, bottom ash cranes, and related equipment) Supplier selection, offer evaluation, and timely placement of purchase orders Supplier expediting during detailed engineering, including documentation control, inspections, and FATs Cross-functional collaboration with procurement, arrangement planning, civil, electrical, and process departments Interface clarification across disciplines and plant lots Installation/commissioning support, technical troubleshooting during project execution and operation, and knowledge transfer (standardization and lessons learned)

Qualifications and Skills
Strong process and product knowledge in Waste Handling systems
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (FH/ETH or technical university)
Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial plant engineering
Experience with crane systems (waste cranes, bottom ash cranes, bulk material handling, grab cranes preferred)
Background in Energy from Waste, power generation, or heavy industry advantageous
Experience in supplier management, procurement of complex systems, and multidisciplinary project teams
Experience in project execution, supplier coordination, and delivery of complex mechanical systems in plant engineering
Fluent English; German is an advantage, plus willingness to travel internationally (supplier visits, FATs, site support)
