Role and responsibilities

Own end-to-end accounting outcomes for the Swiss legal entity, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness. Act as the main accounting interface to the Shared Service Center (AP, AR, GL, T&E;) and oversee accounting quality. Coordinate and control monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities in line with Group timelines. Review and validate GL postings, accruals, provisions, intercompany reconciliations, and financial statements. Prepare statutory financial statements in compliance with Swiss CO, IFRS, and Group accounting policies. Serve as the primary counterpart for external auditors and coordinate audits and remediation actions. Ensure effective internal controls, compliance with DoA/SoD, and high-quality audit documentation. Act as deputy to the Finance Manager Switzerland, supporting leadership, process improvements, and collaboration with Controlling and Group Finance.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong senior-level expertise in statutory accounting, IFRS, and Swiss CO

  • Proven experience owning accounting outcomes within an SSC operating model

  • Hands-on experience with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and financial reporting

  • Experience preparing, reviewing, and signing off statutory financial statements and managing external audits

  • Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance frameworks, DoA, and SoD principles

  • Experience working in ERP-driven environments (IFS preferred)

  • Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style with strong ownership and accountability

  • Fluent in English and German, with the ability to work effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
