Role and responsibilities
You develop and implement category strategies and manage assigned procurement categories throughout their entire strategic lifecycle. You conduct spend, market, supplier, and demand analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimization potential through data-driven insights. You design, maintain, and enhance KPI dashboards, benchmarks, and business cases to support informed decision-making. You drive the harmonization of products, specifications, and data structures while promoting standardization and continuous process improvement. You lead cross-functional projects, facilitate stakeholder committees, and collaborate closely with Procurement, Hospitals, Supply Chain Management, and business functions.

Qualifications and Skills
You hold a university degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, complemented by solid training in Strategic Procurement and Category Management.
You bring at least five years of experience in Category Management, ideally within healthcare or another complex and regulated environment.
You possess strong analytical capabilities and proven expertise in spend analytics, KPI management, statistics, and data-driven decision-making.
You successfully navigate complex stakeholder environments, build alignment across diverse interest groups, and communicate confidently with executive-level stakeholders.
You work in a structured, self-driven, and solution-oriented manner, have strong SAP MM and Microsoft Office skills, and combine a commercial mindset with excellent execution, project management capabilities, and strong communication skills in German and English.
