Role and responsibilities

As Team Lead Field Service Switzerland, you will combine leadership with hands-on field service work. You will lead and develop our Swiss Field Service team while remaining actively involved in customer installations, maintenance, repairs, and technical escalations. You are responsible for delivering a premium service experience, while driving a successful service business. As part of the EMEA Technical Support organization, you will help harmonize service processes, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to the future of our service organization. Over time, your leadership scope may expand to additional customer service functions. Lead, coach and develop the Swiss Field Service team. Deliver an outstanding customer experience and support key customer escalations. Ensure achievement of operational KPIs and commercial service targets. Plan resources and optimize field service operations. Drive process harmonization and continuous improvement across EMEA.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Several years of Field Service experience in a similar environment

  • Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree (HF/FH) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field

  • Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges

  • Good German and English, French language skills as a plus

  • Valid B-driving license required

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft world from office tools to ERP and CSM solutions

  • Leadership experience or strong leadership potential

  • Interdisciplinary knowledge and competences covering robotics, mechanics, electronics and software

  • Be hands-on and technically minded – enjoy understanding how things work and solving practical real-world problems

  • Strong communication skills: capability to understand and ensure customer needs and lead escalation conversations

  • Well organized, punctual, and diligent in completing documentation and administrative tasks

  • Flexible and willing to travel frequently, including overnight stays in hotels when required
