Product Development Engineer Plumbing Systems

Lead the development of innovative plumbing systems and installation tools from concept to market launch Manage innovation projects during incubation and act as Technical Lead throughout the Stage-Gate development process Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives for products, materials, and manufacturing processes Ensure product quality, reliability, compliance, and technical excellence throughout the entire product lifecycle Collaborate closely with Product Management, Operations, Quality, Sales & Application teams, as well as external partners and suppliers Support intellectual property activities and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and documentation standards

At GF Building Flow Solutions, you will play a key role in shaping the future of plumbing systems and installation technologies. Working closely with Product Management, manufacturing sites, and international stakeholders, you will help create customer-focused solutions that deliver quality, performance, and long-term value.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Materials Engineering, Product Development, Building Technology, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in product development and engineering within an international industrial environment

• Proven track record of leading product development projects from idea generation through successful market introduction

• Strong knowledge of product design, materials, manufacturing processes, and problem-solving engineering

• Experience with CAD (Siemens NX or others) and PLM/PDM systems such as Windchill and SAP-ECTR, as well as project and budget management

• Strong technical leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills combined with an innovative and customer-focused mindset
