Senior Technician Refrigeration & Electrical Engineering
📍 8045 Zürich
Role and responsibilities
Lead complex component-level fault diagnostics on our refrigeration units and coffee machines as the final escalation point. Decide precisely between device faults, configuration errors, or telemetry issues through profound triage and a deep understanding of refrigeration cycles. Take charge of technical documentation (risk assessment, circuit diagrams, NEV/EMV compliance) for our internal CAREL integration and POS system. Inspect new and repaired units continuously for electrical safety and ensure the highest level of compliance across the entire fleet. Create structured SOPs and establish a sustainable root-cause and postmortem process to specifically reduce recall costs. Coach our 12-person technician team and close competence gaps through targeted mentoring and a dynamic skills matrix. Organize manufacturer training sessions (e.g., Eversys) and ensure visible, continuous educational progress.
