Head of Department Sourcing Indirect

You will take on the strategic and operational leadership of the Indirect Sourcing (incl. Capital Investments, MRO, professional services, IT services, Facilities Management, production consumables) Procurement department – including leading, coaching, and developing a team of seven employees. You will shape the future of the department and further develop an innovation-oriented procurement strategy. You will take responsibility for defining the commodity group and supplier strategy. You will be responsible for the management of suppliers at the Reinach site and support supplier development in the regions of China, India, the USA, and France. You will collaborate across departments with strategic purchasing managers as well as construction, manufacturing, and industrial engineering teams. You will develop optimized processes and ensure the efficient integration of suppliers into project workflows.

• hold a university degree with a technical background – ideally complemented by a management qualification (e.g. MBA, MAS in Supply Chain Management, or equivalent)

• bring several years of experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing industrial company

• have at least five years of leadership experience and a proven track record in developing teams

• possess strong strategic, methodological, and innovative skills

• have solid experience in project business as well as indirect procurement

• bring business-fluent German and business-fluent English skills

• convince with strong organizational skills, social competence, and a healthy level of assertiveness
