Role and responsibilities
You will: lead and scale the Equipment Engineering organization as a central multidisciplinary engineering and implementation unit, with full ownership of people, budget, and resources. act as a strategic engineering partner for manufacturing equipment, covering mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and automation. establish and strengthen core capabilities in modularization, standardization, and platform design for manufacturing equipment to reduce complexity and enable scalability. drive successful project execution across the full project lifecycle, from requirements engineering through implementation to commissioning and factory acceptance testing (FAT). ensure and govern compliance with machinery regulations (CE), relevant standards as well as safety, security and quality requirements. drive collaboration with international external engineering partners, including technical evaluation and performance oversight, to ensure flexibility and scalability of engineering.

Qualifications and Skills
hold a Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or Industrial Engineering); additional education in systems engineering, manufacturing technologies, or management is a plus
bring a strong background in equipment engineering and complexity management, with a focus on standardization and modularization, complemented by several years of experience in industrialization or manufacturing technology
have extensive experience across the full project lifecycle - from requirements engineering and implementation to commissioning and factory acceptance testing (FAT) - combined with a solid understanding of industrial standards, compliance requirements, and quality expectations
have a proven track record in managing budgets, resources, and external partners, and bring a strong understanding of total cost and lifecycle perspectives
bring extensive leadership experience, developing people and organizations and successfully align diverse stakeholders and confidently lead transformations. You combine strong execution capabilities with analytical thinking and a passion for innovation in industrial engineering
are fluent in German and English and communicate confidently across international stakeholders
