Head of Calibration Technology

You will lead and strategically develop the Calibration Technology organization, fostering operational excellence and strong cross-functional collaboration. You will ensure end-to-end accountability for calibration rigs, covering new developments, retrofit and repeat solutions, lifecycle management, and Level-3 support. You will drive and own system engineering and concept development for calibration technologies including the definition and governance of system architectures. You will define and implement global calibration system roadmaps aligned with key stakeholders. You will ensure compliance, quality and overall budget responsibility while managing global interfaces across internal and external partners.

• hold a Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Industrial or Process Engineering); additional education in systems engineering, manufacturing technologies, or management is a plus.

• proven leadership experience in custom machine building, complemented by strong expertise in industrial systems and manufacturing equipment.

• have a solid understanding of industrial standards including ISO 17025, as well as quality requirements and a strong focus on total cost of ownership.

• have proven experience managing budgets, resources, and external partners in global matrix organizations, and building high-performing teams.

• bring people together, drive alignment across multiple stakeholders, and translate strategic goals into impactful execution. You confidently lead transformations with strong analytical thinking and a passion for innovation in calibration technologies.

• are fluent in German and English and communicate confidently across international stakeholders.
