Role and responsibilities
You will lead a team of up to ten process specialists and project managers, with both disciplinary and functional responsibility, and ensure their continuous development. You will take on functional leadership of the global matrix organization for welding and testing, and be responsible for the strategic and operational development of the discipline. Together with your team, you will drive innovation initiatives within the discipline and implement them in collaboration with internal stakeholders as part of investment projects. You will support product development throughout the product development process by ensuring the early involvement of manufacturing know‑how. You will support international sites through targeted technology transfer as well as engineering and production support.

Qualifications and Skills
have successfully completed a technical degree and are a certified welding engineer.
bring several years of leadership experience in an industrial environment and ideally have experience leading matrix organizations.
have extensive experience in welding manufacturing and solid knowledge of international standards and regulations.
preferably bring strong methodological expertise, for example in DFM/DFA, FMEA, Lean Six Sigma.
are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, feel comfortable working in an international and intercultural environment, and are willing to travel internationally (approximately 10%).
