Senior Consultant - Restructuring and Performance Improvement

Role and responsibilities

Help our clients to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their companies. Support our dedicated core team to 'own' our clients’ challenges and to meet their needs with practical hands-on solutions. These include e.g. performance improvement, strategic option analyses, managed exits, refinancings, legal entity consolidations. Conduct qualitative and quantitative research and develop insights. Draft input to client reports (e.g. status updates, restructuring options) and prepare financial analyses e.g. to shareholders, financing institutions or regulators. Help our team project manage timelines, cost, resources and deliverables and be responsible for tracking. Support the growth of our offering by contributing to our business development activities and quality/risk procedures. Share your ideas, enthusiasm, and investigative insights to drive our projects forward and own your own deliverables.

Qualifications and Skills

  • You are a curious generalist with a strong ability to listen and to explain complex matters in a relatable and understandable way.

  • You enjoy orchestrating the path to a solution with many different contributors and working out practical solutions.

  • You have a good understanding of financial statements, are confident in working in excel and power point to generate meaningful insights aimed at enabling decision-making in high-pressure environments.

  • You are open-minded to join our journey to reshape how we work – AI is part of how we get things done.

  • Master’s degree with special focus on finance, banking, business administration, accounting, economics or law.

  • 3+ years’ work experience in an area like strategy, transformation, transaction services, management consulting or similar (at consultant level).

  • Fluency in German and English with knowledge of financial terminology. Other languages are a plus, preferably French.
