Role and responsibilities
Master payroll fundamentals while solving real client challenges — work on complex issues like developing expense policies and navigating withholding tax assessments. You'll learn how payroll connects to broader business strategy. Build diverse, practical skills across the full payroll cycle — from monthly processing and wage type reviews to social security audits. Every project expands your technical toolkit and client-facing experience. Own critical processes end-to-end — record personnel and salary data, process direct payments via EBICS, distribute payslips, and ensure compliance. You'll see the direct impact of your work and develop a strong foundation in regulatory requirements. Develop relationships with key stakeholders — interact with local tax and social security authorities, prepare accurate monthly reports using ELM, and build credibility as a trusted payroll professional. Contribute meaningfully to your team — learn from one another, develop new skills and participate in the collective growth of you and your colleagues. Your input matters from day one, and you'll grow alongside experienced colleagues who mentor you.
