Role and responsibilities
In this position you will take ownership for the pricing strategy within BU AxM and drive its continuous development, defining and implementing pricing approaches based on key business drivers and market dynamics. You will provide data-driven insights, analyses and tools to support management in shaping pricing strategies and preparing customer quotations while ensuring a solid and consistent data foundation. You will monitor, identify and leverage additional price quotations beyond existing databases to benchmark products and parts, supporting accurate and competitive pricing decisions. You will develop and implement IT tools that foster long-term transparency and a deeper understanding of pricing structures. You will closely monitor product life cycle changes and manage the regular pricing updates regarding spare parts. You will define and manage pricing strategies for specific internal and external requests, including new components, parts, kits and projects. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, Controlling, Customer Service and Sales to align pricing structures, including product feature segregation, margin calculations and quotation processes. You will support further role-related activities, including maintaining the component-machine customer database, contributing to external market development, and benchmarking within the Construction & Mining Machinery industry.

Qualifications and Skills
You have successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or equivalent
You bring strong business acumen with a solid understanding of pricing, margins, value propositions and market dynamics
You have a good understanding of high-level hydraulic component features
You are experienced in data analysis and market research, ideally in a Data, Finance or Business Analyst role, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
You are proficient in MS Office, ERP systems and Power BI
You combine strong analytical skills with a structured and detail-oriented way of working. With your business mindset, proactive approach and clear communication style, you collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different functions
You are fluent in English and have good knowledge of German and French
