Harness Designer - Temporary Contract

Role and responsibilities
You are responsible for the design and optimization of wiring harness assemblies for combustion engines, while taking into account technical, scheduling, and financial aspects (design-to-cost based on customer requirements). You prepare technical presentations and define the wiring harness topology and technology approach together with the E/E design team. You create and manage 2D drawings. Having profound knowledge with Zuken E3 is a must. PTC CREO Cabling is an added value. You create bill of materials for the wiring harness assembly. You design and define the cabling components (electrical cables, connectors, fastening material) in accordance with standards, regulations, and functional requirements. You support the PLM system (BOM creation, lifecycle promotion, release process). You create and maintain technical documentation and component specifications. You plan, execute and evaluate tests as part of the approval process for prototypes or series. You cooperate with the corresponding departments within the project environment, as well as with component suppliers to clarify technical properties of components and support manufacturing related issues.

Qualifications and Skills
You have completed your technical training or comparable qualifications in electro-mechanical design
You have several years of experience in working in wiring harness design
You have advanced knowledge of MS Office, Zuken E3, PTC Creo Cabling and PLM Albatros
You are known for your autonomy and commitment, as well as your strong organizational skills. Flexible and resilient, you enjoy working in a multicultural environment. You are distinguished by your ability to innovate and your goal–oriented approach
You are fluent in French, with ideally good knowledge of English and German
You are willing to develop for the defense applications.
