Development Engineer

Role and responsibilities

You design and analyze new engine technologies and components. You perform engine 1D-Simulation using AMESim or GT-Power. You post-treat measurement results with Matlab, Concerto, and other tools. You carry out mechanical conception and create CAD models of components for prototyping. You design and dimension components for engines and pumps. You define the system part list and supplier management. You present simulation and measurement results. You develop tools and models for data post-treatment. You test the engine and complete power train. You document the developed library for component modeling. You ensure continuous optimization and validation of the models using measurement data.

Qualifications and Skills

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar

  • You have at least 3 years of professional experience in combustion engines or a related field

  • You bring strong expertise in simulation tools such as Matlab/Simulink, AMESim & Simulation X along with proficiency in Creo and Concerto

  • You are analytical, rigorous, and proactive, and you excel in both independent work and collaborative environments

  • You are fluent in French and English, good knowledge of German would be an asset
