Liebherr Maschinen Bulle AG
Control Systems Engineer
📍 1630 Bulle
Role and responsibilities
You take ownership of system-level control design (design, simulation, V&V;, …), contributing to next-generation engine control architectures and digital engineering capabilities. You collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, experts, and customers. You design, implement, and maintain model-based plant/system models and Model‑in‑the‑Loop (MiL) simulation environments to systematically test, analyze, and validate control functions. You perform evidence-based trade‑off analyses to evaluate and optimize alternative technical solutions. You support application engineers during commissioning activities at test benches and in real-world field applications. You define system-level control specifications, including failure mode analysis, safety and cybersecurity considerations. You analyze, evaluate and document the dynamic behavior and interactions of engine control system elements. You design, develop and maintain engine control system architectures (hardware, software and services) with a focus on performance, quality and reusability. You coordinate with project management and software/hardware development teams to integrate new functions and components, and continuously improve model-based systems engineering methods, processes and toolchains.
