Role and responsibilities
Lead the development of preclinical testing strategies aligned with worldwide regulatory requirements and internal liability standards for product registration. Provide expert toxicological support for safety assessments, regulatory submissions, workplace risk assessments, and product stewardship activities. Lead exposure evaluations, develop risk mitigation strategies, and contribute to SHE documentation in close collaboration with SHE teams and cross-functional stakeholders. Support SHE initiatives by providing toxicological expertise for workplace safety assessments, exposure evaluations in production environments, and risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with our SHE team. Manage toxicological studies end-to-end—from planning and outsourcing to monitoring, evaluating, and reporting results for regulatory submissions. Prepare comprehensive safety assessments and safety sections for registration dossiers, workplace risk assessments, and SHE documentation with precision and scientific rigor. Serve as the key toxicology partner to SHE, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Product Management, R&D;, and Project Teams on all safety matters and build and maintain strategic scientific networks e.g. regulatory bodies, institutions, national toxicological societies and health organizations.

Qualifications and Skills

Proven expertise in toxicology with a focus on regulatory affairs and/or occupational health & safety (SHE) applications in industrial settings.
Advanced degree (PhD strongly preferred) in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or related life sciences discipline.
Experience in preclinical testing, regulatory safety assessments, workplace exposure evaluations, or hazard communication for chemical substances.
Exceptional analytical and scientific English reading and writing skills (working language), with the ability to translate complex toxicological data into clear, actionable safety assessments for diverse audiences.
