Trade Finance Manager

Operate Parent Company Guarantees, Documentary and Standby Letters of Credit, LOIs, Bank Guarantees, Bid- and Performance Bonds across a banking network of 30+ banks worldwide. Lead the creation and continuous improvement of cross-departmental trade finance processes, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, and automation. Work closely with international trade finance banks, insurers, and internal teams such as legal, finance, and commercial operations. Ensure accurate, timely reporting and a clear audit trail for all transactions, in coordination with other teams across the Group. Act as a strategic partner to commercial desks (gas, power, LNG, LPG), supporting P&L; and optimizing capital consumption. Support structured trade finance transactions and related tasks such as invoice control and internal recharge.

• A finance degree from a recognized university or business school

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a commodity trading house or bank, with hands-on exposure to LC/guarantee operations

• A hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and risk awareness

• A strong communicator who collaborates transparently and stays composed under pressure

• Fluent English (C1/C2); German is a strong plus, and other European languages (Italian, Spanish, French) are useful

• Ideally, experience with financial reporting or finance system implementation
