Asset & Liability Manager - Finance Treasury and Credit

Role and responsibilities

Provide expert analysis and insights on Treasury topics, such as net interest income development, FX impacts, balance sheet dynamics, and credit-related topics to senior management and other key stakeholders. Lead performance measurement, forecasting, and budgeting activities for the Group Treasury sub-division. Serve as subject matter expert for initiatives relating to the Treasury P&L; and Treasury bond portfolio and investments. Design and develop analytical tools, reporting frameworks, and dashboards to support decision-making in Treasury relevant areas. Drive data model development initiatives to enhance Treasury and Credit analytics, including the automation and optimisation of reporting processes. Ensure end-to-end execution of credit risk reporting, including the production, quality assurance, and dissemination of insights to First- and Second-Line stakeholders, in compliance with regulatory and internal governance requirements. Lead or support strategic projects and workstreams across Treasury and Credit, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial structures, processes, and analytical capabilities, contributing to enhanced financial resilience and strategic growth. Contribute to a culture of high performance, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Relevant advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; additional professional certifications such as CFA or CPA are desirable

  • Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in treasury, credit, or a related financial role

  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data and economic conditions

  • Solid understanding of treasury and balance sheet management, counterparty risk, and credit risk management principles

  • Proficient in the use of financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel

  • Experienced in automating, standardizing, and optimizing financial processes and analytical workflows, leveraging digital tools and data-driven approaches to improve efficiency and transparency

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple priorities with keen attention to detail

  • Able to prepare and present information in a clear, audience-specific manner; experience with creating intuitive dashboards and proficiency in Tableau considered an advantage

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage and build trusted relationships with key stakeholders
