Role and responsibilities
Manage accounting and financial reporting for Bank Julius Baer and affiliated domestic and international entities Prepare monthly financial statements and business reports, including VAT returns in accordance with local regulations Ensure compliance with internal control systems (ICS) Contribute to the implementation of internal and external accounting regulations (including IFRS) Perform analytical reviews of balance sheet and income statement positions Prepare group (IFRS) and local statutory reporting Collaborate cross-functionally with Group Tax, Management Accounting, IT, and Payroll Support corporate activities such as entity setup, acquisitions, and liquidations Drive process improvements and support SAP-related initiatives (R/3, S/4HANA) Provide technical accounting support and troubleshooting across international teams Participate in system and process testing for accounting applications

Qualifications and Skills
Swiss Certified Accountant or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting, ideally within banking or financial services
Strong knowledge of IFRS
Experience with SAP R/3 or S/4HANA is an advantage
Proficient in MS Office
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
