Role and responsibilities

Own the end‑to‑end public distribution strategy for structured products, from ideation and positioning to execution and post‑issuance follow‑up. Continuously optimize product shelf architecture based on client demand, margin considerations, and issuer competitiveness. Closely align with the sales desks on the floor, especially the external as well as inhouse distribution teams. Coordinate with retail networks, financial advisors, and digital platforms to maximize reach. Increase the visibility of Julius Baer as a Structured Product issuer by contributing articles as well as participating in Panels, industry events, fairs et al. Drive the further development of the Julius Baer Derivative Portal. Educate distributors and end clients on product features, benefits, and risks. Provide ongoing support and training to ensure proper understanding and compliance. Ensure adherence to Swiss and cross‑border regulations (e.g. prospectus requirements, KID/KIID, marketing restrictions). Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to ensure robust controls across the public distribution framework. Monitor changes in regulations and adapt distribution strategies accordingly. Leverage data analytics to assess client behaviour, product profitability, and distribution effectiveness. Translate market intelligence into actionable product and distribution recommendations. Contribute to strategic initiatives related to structured products and broader wealth management offerings.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven team player with strong communication skills, willing to work in an entrepreneurial environment

  • Strong negation and communication skills

  • 5-10yrs experience in Public Distribution especially in CH

  • German (must), English, other languages a plus

  • A masters degree in finance or similar
