Role and responsibilities
Development of a verification plan for signalling systems (system for automatic/autonomous driving). Review of relevant requirements. Evaluation of the development process with the European standards including the assigned Safety Integrity Level (SIL). Auditing the correctness, consistency and appropriateness of test cases, executed tests and test tools. Ensuring that all verification activities are performed according to EN standards (50126, 50129, 50716 etc.). Conduct verification inspections or reviews of the overall project in certain project phases. Give approval and/or disagreement for the outcome of the overall project in certain project phases. Other verification activities of the Division Signalling.

Qualifications and Skills
Verification engineer with experience of conducting verification activities in an industrial environment
Good communication skills to communicate project aspects and related findings to different stakeholders
Strong interest in aspects of industrial automation, Industry 4.0 and rail industry
Good understanding of typical project lifecycle in an industrial environment
Knowledge of relevant norms such as EN 50126, 50129, 50716
Fluent in English and German (desirable)
