Field Service Technician

Installation, handle over and commissioning Bystronic machines at customer sites: ready for start-up according the Bystronic requirements. Assemble electric, pneumatic and hydraulic installations. Maintain Bystronic machines at customer sites and repairing electrics, pneumatics and hydraulics. Perform CNC/PLC software updates / downgrades and tests whether those were successfully on standalone machines. Resolves basic trouble-shooting cases, including the diagnosis- and analyses of the case. Support the installation and operation of machines on fares and exhibitions

• Mechanical/Electrical educational background.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of customer service and/or technical service experience.

• Experience in the bending or laser-cutting machinery sector is not just a valuable, it's a key advantage.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.

• Approximately 90% domestic travel.

• Fluent Dutch and a good level of English.

• Need to be able to make effective decisions, as well as creatively build effective programs to increase sales and build customer satisfaction based on business needs.

• Adapt at balancing priorities based on repair workload.

• Demonstrated ability to perform well as a self-starter and work well in a team environment.
