R&D Engineer

Design, develop, and maintain electrical test infrastructures for low-voltage (LV) three-phase systems, supporting product development, validation, and certification activities in accordance with IEC and UL standards.

Develop and validate embedded firmware and control solutions, including C-based applications and PLC programming, for laboratory and testing environments.

Plan and execute functional, performance, and safety testing on hardware prototypes and test setups, ensuring reliable operation and compliance with applicable standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams to define requirements, solve technical challenges, and maintain accurate technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience in embedded firmware development using C for microcontroller- or microprocessor-based systems.

  • Knowledge of low-voltage three-phase electrical systems, power distribution, power conversion, or UPS technologies.

  • Experience in electrical design, testing, validation, or commissioning of electrical and electronic systems.

  • Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial automation concepts.

  • Ability to analyze technical requirements, troubleshoot complex issues, and work in a hands-on laboratory environment.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

  • Professional proficiency in English; additional language skills are considered an advantage.
