In this role, you will support ABB's Motion High Power Division in Switzerland with a broad range of administrative and organizational tasks. You will be part of a newly formed assistant team and report to the Teamlead Administrative Services & Site Communication. Together with your colleagues, you will support local employees and leaders, contribute to smooth day-to-day operations and help ensure that administrative processes run efficiently and professionally. This role offers a unique combination of teamwork, responsibility and variety, with close interaction across different functions and departments. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes ownership, and likes finding practical solutions in a dynamic business environment. You will be mainly accountable for: Provide administrative and organizational support to executives and employees, including coordination of calendars, travel arrangements, and meetings. Contribute to projects, events, and internal communications while ensuring a professional visitor experience and fostering a positive workplace environment. Manage administrative processes such as procurement, invoicing, and onboarding/offboarding activities, while continuously improving workflows and tools. Collaborate closely with the administrative support team and mentor apprentices, helping to promote a positive learning and working culture.

You will join a newly established assistant team and help shape how we collaborate and support the organization. ABB Motion provides pioneering technology, products, solutions and related services to industrial customers to increase energy efficiency, improve safety and reliability, and maintain precise control over processes. The portfolio includes motors, generators and drives for a wide range of applications in all industrial sectors.

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship or comparable qualification.

  • Several years of experience in an administrative, assistant or coordination role.

  • Strong organizational and planning skills.

  • Service-oriented and proactive approach.

  • Ability to prioritize and remain calm in a changing environment.

  • A friendly and approachable demeanor, along with a dynamic and enthusiastic approach to tasks

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
