Within the EN Department Safety team, your responsibilities will include: Analysing accidents and hazardous situations, and contributing to the definition of corrective and preventive actions. Supporting the Departmental Safety Officer (DSO) in implementing the department's safety actions. Participating in the organisation of planned evacuations and in feedback/lessons-learned activities following these exercises. Drafting and communicating prevention and safety awareness messages. Taking part in safety inspections and on-site visits to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement. Contributing to the monitoring of action plans and the promotion of a strong safety culture.

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten
Experience participating in the analysis of incidents and hazardous situations as part of a safety team.
Experience supporting safety prevention initiatives and awareness activities.
Experience contributing to the preparation, coordination, and organisation of planned evacuation procedures.
Knowledge of the main occupational health and safety risks.
Good knowledge of office software tools (Word, Excel).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive mindset, autonomy, and adaptability.
Spoken and written English, with a commitment to learn French.
You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is either a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
Applicants without University degree are not eligible.
Applicants with a PhD are not eligible.
