Photolithography Process Engineer

Ensure processes meet the production program and yield goals and address any product yield and rework issues. Engage with equipment and material vendors to develop new solutions and improve existing processes, to ensure smooth functioning of the production line. Develop new techniques, modify existing designs, and coordinate process improvement projects. Analyze process data to identify trends, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues (implement and regularly check SPC). Independent planning and Implementation of new machinery into the production line. Work closely with process integration, wet etch, diffusion, metals, dry etch, and implant teams to ensure seamless production. Supports some metrology tools i.e. to measure CD and Overlay. On-call duties on weekends and public holidays (as required from the production) with participation in the on-call meeting (before the on-call duty) agreed on his own responsibility with the other on-call service providers.

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Science or Physics) with 5+ years of experience in industry or master’s degree with 3+ years of experience in industry or Ph.D. with industry experience

  • Extensive experience in wafer photolithography operations especially in coating and exposure in Steppers, in a wafer manufacturing environment (thin-film-head, semiconductor wafer manufacturing)

  • Familiarity with automated wafer factory software systems like SPC, MES and Experience with data extraction, manipulation, and analysis

  • Strong understanding of optics and immersion lithography

  • Proficiency in data science and programming is preferred

  • Good English and German language skills

  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment
