Rolle und Verantwortlichkeiten

  1. Provide first-level technical support to employees across international locations

  2. Resolve helpdesk tickets quickly and professionally

  3. Set up, configure, and maintain IT equipment (laptops, printers, mobile devices, VPN access)

  4. Manage Active Directory accounts (password resets, groups, permissions)

  5. Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)

  6. Assist with VPN connectivity and remote access issues

  7. Perform basic network troubleshooting (connectivity, DHCP, DNS)

  8. Support certificate-based authentication and smart-card login

  9. Document support requests, resolutions, and IT procedures

  10. Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and GDPR

  11. Train employees on IT tools and systems

  12. Assist with onboarding and offboarding (accounts, equipment, access)

  13. Monitor security alerts and escalate threats as needed

Our IT department supports operations across Switzerland, the Philippines, and APAC. The Zurich IT team is small, collaborative, and technically modern, operating with virtualized infrastructure, Microsoft 365, Proxmox, multi-site VPNs, and certificate-based authentication. Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten

Required

  • Completed IT education or equivalent training

  • 1–2 years of experience in helpdesk/IT support

  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11

  • Experience with Active Directory user management

  • Microsoft 365 troubleshooting (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)

  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

  • Excellent English and German (spoken and written)

  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer-service mindset

Preferred

  • macOS support

  • Experience with virtualization (Proxmox)

  • Basic PowerShell scripting

  • Understanding of multi-site environments

  • Experience with IPsec/SSL VPN

  • IT security and GDPR awareness

  • ITIL Foundation (or willingness to obtain)
