Technical Presales Consultant Data & AI / Automation – IBM Software

Support partners and sales teams in technical presales engagements. Contribute to solution designs for data platforms, AI use cases, and automation scenarios. Assist in technical presentations, product demos, workshops, and proof‑of‑concepts. Collaborate on proposals and RFP responses from a technical perspective. Participate in partner enablement and training sessions. Gradually build deep expertise in IBM technologies through hands‑on experience and certifications.

• Technical background in Data, AI, Automation, Integration, or similar domains

• First experience in technical consulting, engineering, or presales is an advantage

• Interest in customer‑facing roles and solution design

• Experience with IBM Software is welcome but not required

• Exposure to Hybrid Cloud, containers or OpenShift is a plus

• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn

• Fluent in German and English
