Senior Manager Signal Processing - RIC and BTE

Lead and own the development, design and integration of signal processing features for Sonova hearing systems. Provide technical leadership and decision-making authority for signal processing realization. Drive reuse, scalability, and product readiness across platforms, products, and Sonova brands. Establish clear cross domain alignment and decision making across departments and areas. Collaborate closely with Product Management and Project Leaders to ensure customer focus and success in the market. Lead, develop, and manage a team of software professionals while supporting talent development and succession planning.

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline

  • Proven leadership experience in software development and in people leadership within complex R&D environments

  • Extensive experience shaping and delivering software features across multiple platforms, product generations, and releases

  • Strong understanding of Digital Signal Processing (DSP), system integration, fitting software systems, and regulated product development

  • Ability to lead through ambiguity while balancing innovation, scalability, quality, and long-term platform value

  • Strong, confident communicator with demonstrated soft skills applied to leadership and collaboration across technical, audiological, and business stakeholders

  • Experience working in international, multi-site, and cross-functional environments

  • Curious about emerging technologies, particularly AI, with a forward-looking mindset and passion for innovation

  • Fluent in English; German is a plus
