German-Speaking Solution Engineer - Retail & Consumer Goods

Build and deliver tailored product demonstrations, technical deep-dives and engaging workshops that showcase the value of the Salesforce platform. Build Proofs of Concept (PoC) within customer environments, and respond effectively to Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and Requests for Proposal (RFP). Serve as a credible trusted advisor to IT and business decision makers — articulating how Salesforce fits into their enterprise architecture, proactively overcoming technical objections, and instilling confidence throughout the sales cycle. Work with Account Executives, an internal team of pre-sales colleagues and partners to orchestrate a cohesive customer experience, progressing deals through complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments. The German-Speaking Solution Engineer, Retail and Consumer Goods, is part of the Swiss pre-sales organisation at Salesforce.

• You have 3 or more years of experience in a solution engineering, technical consulting, implementation, integration, or equivalent customer-facing technical role, with proven hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform including architecture, integration, and data management.

• You are technically sharp and naturally curious — you enjoy exploring and tinkering with new technologies, and are an active user of AI tools including large language models (LLM) and coding assistants.

• You are fluent in English and German (spoken and written) and are based in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.

• You are a strong collaborator who brings energy and joy to team environments, with the ability to engage credibly across both technical and business audiences up to C-suite level.
