R&D Intern - Polysaccharide Structure and Functionality

Investigating how selective enzymatic treatments shape polysaccharide structure and functionality in model food systems. Designing and carrying out laboratory experiments to identify optimal reaction conditions and prototype approaches. Characterizing polysaccharides using techniques such as size exclusion chromatography, monosaccharide composition analysis, rheology, dynamic light scattering and microscopy. Consolidating and interpreting experimental results to build meaningful insights for food science innovation. Presenting your findings clearly to the project team and contributing to collaborative scientific discussions.

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten

  • Current student or fresh graduate in physico-chemistry, food science or related scientific fields

  • Having a first exposure to laboratory environment, planning experiments and documenting results with care.

  • Having a proactive, result-oriented mindset while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.

  • Communicating confidently in English, both orally and in writing.

  • Demonstrating courage, collaboration, speed and continuous learning.
