The MAF Lead plays a crucial role in shaping the medical strategy and ensuring effective execution, in alignment with business objectives. The position demands a combination of strategic thinking, leadership, and deep industry knowledge to drive success in medical affairs. The MAF Lead is a leading contributor to the Country Value Team (CVT) and offers medical expertise both internally and externally, as well as portfolio management and development of long-term strategies in collaboration with the EMEA Functional Network. Other responsibilities include leading the development of the Medical Affairs (MAF) plan in alignment with the EMEA/IBVT medical strategy and managing the related budget and supervising the MSL tactical plans. He/She provides thought leadership, subject matter and medical expertise across the organization as well as in external forum. An important aspect of the role is the leadership of the medical team including coordinating and developing talent within the team.

A minimum of 8-10 years of proven experience across multiple fields
A medical, pharmacy or scientific degree, preferably a PhD
Deep knowledge of the therapeutic area and the industry
Proficiency in German and English, with French as an advantage
