Capture cross-commodity opportunities in Gas, Coal, CO₂, and Power spreads by using options expertise to turn volatility into value and actively manage flexibility. Navigate major exchanges—EEX, EPEX SPOT, Nord Pool, GME, OTE, PXE, and HUPX—with precision and creativity. Participate in cross-border auctions and power tenders, turning volatility into opportunity.

• Minimum of 5 years in European Power trading, with at least 4 years of proven success specifically within the CWE markets.

• Comprehensive understanding of the European energy transition, including renewables penetration, thermal merit orders, and cross-border flow dynamics.

• A Master’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

• A genuinely entrepreneurial mindset—you think in risk-reward, not job descriptions. Composure under pressure, fluent analytics, and strategic agility.

• Strong quantitative mindset. Proficiency in Python or SQL is highly preferred for data analysis and back-testing strategies.

• English is a must; German, French, or Italian is a welcomed advantage.
