Retail Design Project Leader

Define and lead the store design strategy, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and global standards. Integrate innovative design trends and sustainability practices. Oversee the creation of concept designs, layout plans, and schematic design packages for new stores, remodels, and renovations, ensuring the highest standards of design and execution. Partner with internal teams (merchandising, operations, marketing) and external vendors (architects, engineers, consultants) to create cohesive, functional, and visually compelling retail environments. Manage multiple store design projects simultaneously from concept to completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery while maintaining high design standards. Ensure all retail environments reflect the company’s brand identity, values, and customer experience goals, while tailoring solutions to local markets as needed. Develop and maintain global store design playbooks, guidelines, and standards to ensure design consistency across all regions and markets. Drive innovation in store design with a focus on sustainability, new materials, and technologies that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

We are looking for a Retail Design Project Leader for our Marketing Department.
Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten
Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
7+ years of experience in retail store design, space planning, and project management
Proven expertise in designing and executing retail design projects, remodels, and new retail environments on a global scale
Strong design portfolio showcasing expertise in retail environments
Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Smartsheet or similar tools
Experience working with sustainability principles and implementing environmentally responsible design solutions
Exceptional communication and project management skills
Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and manage relationships with external vendors and partners
Good understanding of building codes, permitting processes, and construction best practices
Detail-oriented, problem-solver, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Strong command of the English and French languages
