Rolle und Verantwortlichkeiten

During the programme, you will: Be part of the global FX Trading Team and establish a close working relationship with relevant peers and internal/ external stakeholders across the globe. Understand and deal with client requests in STIR and FX Derivative products. Support the team in its daily business activities, risk management and help to improve its core pricing capabilities. Keep up to date with FX, FI and STIR market developments and communicate these insights in a timely fashion to internal stakeholders.

Team / Beschreibung

As part of the FX Trading unit in Zurich, you will join the STIR & FX Derivatives team, a dynamic front-office team at the heart of the bank's trading activities. The team is responsible for the pricing, risk management and trading of short-term interest rate products and foreign exchange derivatives, supporting both internal and external stakeholders. Throughout the programme, you will gain hands-on exposure to financial markets and learn how the trading desks manage risk, make pricing decisions and respond to market developments. You will work closely with senior traders, sales teams, risk managers and other specialists across the bank, giving you a broad understanding of how a global trading business operates. Further you will have the opportunity to go abroad to join one of the leading sales units. While during you last term you will gain insight at our Quant Analytics & Development.

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten

  • Master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences with above-average grades in quantitative finance, mathematics, physics, economics (graduation max. 12 months ago)

  • Initial practical experience in a trading role would be beneficiary

  • Passion for wealth management and a desire to create value beyond wealth

  • A global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong appetite for learning

  • Fluency in English; German or any other is a benefit, with additional languages being a plus
