Intern Regional CFO Emerging Markets - 6-12months

Act as partner to the business: Project management for product or finance related requests (e.g. loans, subsidies, rates programs, capital/funding analysis, pricing analysis, etc.). Maintain and improve the monitoring of initiatives with full responsibility for reconciliations. Strategic finance topics: Support monthly financial reporting processes and provide commentary for Senior Management; contribute towards financial planning for the Region and Markets and/or bigger local legal entities; work alongside Corporate Development team on M&A; projects. Ad hoc finance deep dives: Analysis for specific senior management requests (e.g. Net New Money, local business transformation plans, strategic finance developments, etc.). Drive transformation projects for strategic finance topics: Assist financial planning through financial modelling and identify & drive implementation of ongoing enhancements for the purpose of performance steering.

The regional CFO team for Emerging Markets (reporting to the Group CFO) provides overall finance management to the region head related to key front topics and requires a broad skillset from both analytical and interpersonal level.

• University student (Bachelor or Master level) or recent graduate

• Initial practical experience in finance or corporate finance and/or wealth management is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and capacity for conceptual thinking

• Proactive and with ability to work independently

• “Can-do-attitude” coupled with openness to challenges and willingness to learn

• Proficient user in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Fluency in English is a requirement (spoken and written), German and other languages meritorious
