Power Electronics Engineer for Traction Projects

Design traction power electronics converters and energy storage systems (ESS), ensuring seamless integration within vehicles and alignment with customer needs, industry standards, and internal specifications. Lead the specification, execution, analysis, and documentation of Type and Qualification tests for traction converters and ESS. Develop expertise in core power engineering competencies, components, or tools to provide technical guidance to peers. Optimize design processes and customer solutions independently or with cross-functional specialist teams. Contribute to standardization and continuous improvement of traction product families, driving innovation in integrating traction converters with ESS.

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten

  • A qualified Power Electronics/Electrical Engineer with a solid background in power electronics design and engineering. Experience with traction converters and energy storage systems is an advantage.

  • Eager to continuously expand technical expertise, drive continuous improvement, and share knowledge with the team.

  • A proactive individual who thrives on solving complex challenges and takes ownership of tasks, while also being an effective player in an inclusive team.

  • Clear and efficient communication in English, both written and spoken, is essential. German language skills are a strong advantage.

  • Occasional travel to support projects.
