Global Spare Parts Forecasting Specialist

Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts for spare parts, consolidating inputs from LSOs and incorporating installed base data, failure rates, service contracts, product lifecycle changes, and new product introductions. Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, product management, manufacturing, and service teams to ensure parts availability, manage supply risks, and support EOL, ECN, lead time, and inventory planning activities. Monitor forecasting and supply performance through KPIs and dashboards, identify demand anomalies, and drive corrective actions to improve forecast accuracy, service levels, and on-time delivery. Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, forecasting tools, ERP data quality, e-commerce platforms, and automation initiatives while ensuring compliance with ABB’s HSE and integrity standards.

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in spare parts planning, demand forecasting, service operations, or supply chain management.
Experience in power electronics, UPS, critical power systems, or industrial equipment is preferred.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), forecasting tools, Excel/BI solutions, and e-commerce platforms.
Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage.
Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to develop and improve forecasting models.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills, with the ability to translate complex inputs into actionable recommendations.
Solid knowledge of spare parts strategies, service operations, and process improvement, with a focus on service availability, delivery performance, standardization, and automation.
