Production Shift Supervisor

In this position, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with process workflows, work instructions, production plans, and quality and safety standards in a 3‑shift operation for the production of miniature circuit breakers (MCBs). You play a key role in maintaining smooth production operations. Working closely with the department management, you help create an effective and efficient working environment. Managing capacities, resources, and personnel during the shift while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and production targets. Acting as the primary contact for process‑related questions and ensuring compliance with defined process standards. Identifying improvement opportunities in production processes and equipment, and addressing technical, quality‑related, and logistical challenges with a solution‑oriented mindset. Motivating and developing the team, and collaborating closely with internal support functions to ensure efficient communication.

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten
Completed technical apprenticeship
Several years of experience in production or production‑related areas
Initial leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and automated production lines
Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and Lean‑management methods (e.g., KAIZEN, Lean Six Sigma)
Strong analytical skills, resilience, and excellent team behavior
Fluent German skills (spoken and written); English skills are an advantage
Willingness to work in shifts (currently 3‑shift model, potentially including Saturdays)
Strong interpersonal skills and assertiveness
ERP knowledge (SAP)
