We seek a dynamic and inclusive leader with outstanding clinical expertise, a distinguished scientific track record, and strong international recognition, who can articulate a compelling vision for the future of neurological research and education. The appointee is expected to strengthen existing collaborations within the hospital and with external research institutions. In particular, the role involves fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and further developing the existing Clinical Neuroscience Center in close partnership with the Department of Neurosurgery and the Department of Neuroradiology. Candidates should demonstrate leadership experience at the level of senior physician or senior attending physician at a university hospital. A proven ability to lead large research teams, secure competitive third-party funding, and contribute to teaching at all levels-including student instruction, thesis supervision, and the mentorship of early-career researchers-is essential.

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten
Applicants must hold a habilitation (or equivalent qualification) and board certification in neurology.
German language skills at level B2 of the common European framework of reference for languages should be available or must be acquired within a reasonable period of time.
