In your role as a research assistant, you will work under supervision on current research in the field of social psychology. A selection of possible tasks is: searching for relevant literature, translating materials (DE/EN), creating and conducting studies, analysing data, presenting results or writing them up according to APA norms, recruiting participants for the VERVE Lab.

The Faculty of Psychology is one of seven faculties of the oldest university in Switzerland. With our core focus areas Society & Choice and Health & Interventions, we are successful both nationally and internationally in our research and study programs. The Centre for Social Psychology conducts research at the interface of social psychology, consumer psychology as well as cognition and decision sciences. Our research follows a social-cognitive and empirical-quantitative approach.
Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten
You are studying psychology at the University of Basel and are interested in social psychological research
You want to be actively involved in research and work on topical projects
You like to work independently, but also communicate successfully in a team
You have a very good command of English
You have experience with statistical data analysis (notably R) or are willing to familiarise yourself with them
You have experience with programming online studies (such as Unipark or SoSciSurvey) or are willing to familiarise yourself with them
