Rolle und Verantwortlichkeiten
Perform and support experimental procedures in mice, including stereotaxic surgeries, behavioural training and testing and chronic in vivo electrophysiological recordings. Support histological processing and sample preparation for ex vivo experiments. Support the monitoring of animals before, during, and after experimental procedures.

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten
Valid certification to perform animal experiments in Switzerland (LTK1 or equivalent qualification)
At least 2 years of hands-on experience with in vivo experiments in rodents, gained through a technical apprenticeship, veterinary technician training, or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field
Experience working with rodents in a research environment, including animal handling, welfare monitoring, and experimental documentation
Careful, organised, and reliable working style with the ability to work independently
Good communication skills in English
Experience with stereotaxic surgery in rodents
Experience with in vivo electrophysiology and/or neural recording techniques
Experience with behavioural neuroscience experiments
Ability to communicate in German is an advantage
