Cyber Security Intern

Rolle und Verantwortlichkeiten

Support daily monitoring of security alerts and controls under guidance of senior team members. Assist with initial review and classification of security alerts and events. Perform routine checks on selected security controls (e.g. email protection, identity security dashboards). Assist in monitoring security configurations within Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD). Support reviews of identity protection measures such as MFA and conditional access. Contribute to documentation and reporting of cloud security posture against internal baselines. Assist in the coordination and follow‑up of vulnerability scans. Help track remediation actions with IT teams and update status dashboards. Participate in patch management follow‑up for critical systems (tracking and reporting only). Participate in incident response activities alongside senior cyber security staff. Help document incidents, actions taken, and lessons learned. Support preparation of incident reports and internal communications when required. Assist in periodic access reviews for systems and cloud platforms. Support onboarding and offboarding access verification activities. Help validate basic segregation of duties and least‑privilege principles. Contribute to maintaining security documentation, procedures, and operational checklists. Support preparation of security metrics and reports for internal stakeholders. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and security projects.

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten

  • Basic understanding of information security concepts (phishing, malware, access control, vulnerabilities).

  • Initial exposure to: Microsoft 365 / Entra ID (Azure AD), Endpoint or email security concepts, Cloud or identity security fundamentals, Interest in security monitoring, incident response, and governance.

  • Strong willingness to learn and develop practical cyber security skills.

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work methodically and follow procedures.

  • Professional discretion and respect for confidentiality.

  • Team‑oriented with a proactive attitude.

  • Excellent verbal and written command in French and English.

  • Recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in: Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field.

  • Mandatory Swiss residency (since at least 12 months)
