As Business Development Manager / Country Head for France, you will be the face of APPL in the French market. You will own the full commercial cycle from identifying new opportunities to closing deals while also providing strategic leadership for country-level growth, in alignment with the European Sales Director.
Incumbent of this position will report to Simran Singh and have the following responsibility:
1. Achieve regional sales targets, revenue growth, and market share objectives.
2. Appoint and Manage distributors (exclusive or non-exclusive) with an initial combined stock order value of at least €1 million across product lines.
3. Initiate business with key end-user clients CDMO/CMO (Contract Development manufacturing organization / Contract Manufacturing organization) in European Union.
4. Develop OEM ( Original Equipment Manufacturers) partnerships with leading manufacturers
5. Leading and ongoingly upscaling a fully operational warehouse and office in Europe to streamline logistics and customer support.
6. Deliver proactive support to key accounts through collaborative customer visits.
7. Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities in Biopharma, Pharma, and Industrial segments.
8. Support partners with product training, technical coordination, and commercial negotiations.
9. Monitor distributor performance and drive corrective actions where required.
10. Plan and execute international marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and trade fairs in Europe.
11. Coordinate with digital marketing team for region-specific campaigns and lead generation.
12. Strengthen Ami Polymer brand positioning in regulated European markets.
13. Prepare product presentations, proposals, and marketing collaterals.
14. Ensure adherence to European regulatory and compliance requirements.
15. Track market trends, competitor activities, and pricing benchmarks.
16. Prepare periodic MIS, sales forecasts, and regional performance reports.
17. Handle techno-commercial discussions with customers.
18. Support RFQs, tenders, and contract negotiations.
19. Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten
M.Sc./ M. Pharm/ M.Tech/ B.Tech ( Biotech / Microbiology / Biochemistry) Advanced degree strongly preferred (Ph.D)
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of B2B sales or business development experience within the biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, or single-use consumables industry, preferably in the European market.
Strong and proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Well-established network and industry recognition within the European single-use systems and consumables ecosystem.
Extensive experience managing and developing relationships with French and broader European clients, with a deep understanding of regional market dynamics.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently across France and Europe for customer meetings and business development activities.
Demonstrates a strong ownership mindset and leadership capability, with the ability to independently drive business growth.
Hands-on experience in planning, coordinating, and executing participation in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences across Europe; capable of preparing high-impact proposals and presentation decks tailored to client needs.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth commercial environment, adapting quickly to changing market conditions.

Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
