Job Description

As a Data Engineering Intern, you will further develop the e-mobility platform and play a central role in finding new ways to improve the lives of our customers and colleagues using automation, optimization and data visualization, all of that in a booming and innovative sector for sustainable mobility and energy. Develop and implement solutions to optimize data workflows and improve efficiency within Swisscharge's systems, using the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. Design and create visually appealing and insightful dashboards using PowerBI for data visualization and reporting. Process and integrate large amounts of data using Python and Spark to improve decision-making, real-time operations and financial flows. Interview and collaborate with the different teams to identify and prioritize new features around EV charging using modern software and cloud integration tools. Test and document new features and processes by working closely with the product and business development teams.

Education

• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field

Experience

• Proficiency in REST APIs and experience in integrating them into software applications
• Familiarity with cloud services and their functionalities for data storage and management
• Experience with or willingness to learn PowerBI for data visualization and reporting purposes

Competencies

• Strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation, automation, and analysis
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and tools
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent communication skills
