Rolle und Verantwortlichkeiten

Manage laboratory materials and consumables, including ordering, stock monitoring, inventory control, and ensuring the continuous availability of critical supplies. Perform routine microbiological testing in a GMP-regulated environment, including activities such as bioburden, environmental monitoring, sterility, and bacterial endotoxin testing, with the opportunity to develop expertise in specific testing areas. Coordinate and document microbiological analyses, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution of routine laboratory activities. Support the continuous improvement and implementation of microbiological methods, technologies, and laboratory processes while contributing to operational excellence. Ensure laboratory readiness through equipment maintenance, compliance with cGMP and safety requirements, and participation in on-call duties to support business needs.

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten

  • Hands-on experience in microbiological testing, particularly bioburden testing, ideally gained in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare environment.

  • Strong understanding of GMP requirements and enthusiasm for performing routine laboratory analyses with a high level of accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail.

  • Completed training as a Biology Laboratory Technician (BiologielaborantIn) or a BSc in Biology or related life sciences field; experience with endotoxin testing, Growth Direct, or PyroTec PRO is an advantage.

  • Experience or interest in laboratory material management, including ordering, inventory control, and ensuring material availability to support smooth laboratory operations.

  • Fluent English skills, with German considered a plus; a flexible and collaborative mindset, including willingness to participate in an on-call rotation, and occasionally adjust working hours to meet operational needs.
