Senior QA Specialist, Material Management

Rolle und Verantwortlichkeiten

Act as QA Representative for assigned projects, ensuring Quality oversight of raw materials, packaging materials, single-use systems, filters, and other GMP-relevant materials used in manufacturing operations. Support material qualification activities, including QA Approval of risk assessments, specification reviews, and QC documentation. Prepare, review, and approve material risk assessments and product statements. Ensure suppliers are appropriately qualified for the intended use of materials. Assess, review and approve material-related quality records, investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and change requests. Act as the Quality representative in cross-functional teams, collaborating with Operations, MSAT, Supply Chain, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Control. Ensure all QA activities are performed in compliance with applicable SOPs, internal standards, and regulatory expectations. Support health authority inspections, customer audits, and internal audits by providing subject matter expertise in material management.

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten

  • Academic degree in Life Sciences/ Pharmacy/ Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.

  • Proven experience in a QA, QC or Project Management within a regulated (GxP) industry.

  • Solid knowledge of quality systems (e.g., Trackwise), including deviations, change controls, CAPAs, and investigations.

  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and quality‑relevant master data is an advantage.

  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.

  • Good team player, willing to learn and grow with the team.

  • Fluent English skills required, German is an advantage.
