Global Communications Manager

Drive and further develop Schindler’s global media relations strategy while building trusted relationships with key media representatives worldwide. Act as a company spokesperson and advise senior leaders on media engagements, speaking opportunities, and executive communications. Create compelling content including press releases, speeches, interviews, web stories, Annual Report stories, and financial communications materials. Lead issues management, crisis communications, and proactive reputation protection while monitoring relevant social, economic, regulatory, and political developments. Develop impactful stories that strengthen Schindler’s reputation and collaborate across global teams to bring strategic business narratives to life.

• University degree in Communications, Journalism, Business Administration or a related field

• 10+ years of experience in corporate communications and media relations within international organizations

• Proven success in reputation management, issues management, and crisis communications

• Strong network within Swiss media and a solid understanding of the international media landscape

• Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English and German
