(Senior) Global Product Manager Valves

Develop and execute the global product strategy and roadmap for assigned industrial valve product ranges, aligned with GF’s business strategy, market needs, and growth targets. Support global sales companies, key customers, dealers, and project teams with technical-commercial product expertise, training, launch material, and application guidance. Act as the internal and external product expert for assigned valve ranges, including customer visits, supplier discussions, trade shows, technical presentations, and strategic growth initiatives. Own the full product lifecycle from market requirement definition, business case, and product development to launch, growth, portfolio optimization, and phase-out. Analyze customer needs, market trends, competitor activities, application requirements, and regulatory developments in the valve and flow-control industry. Define product requirements, value propositions, target applications, and product positioning in close collaboration with R&D, engineering, sales, marketing, operations, and quality. Drive innovation, product improvement, and cost optimization initiatives, including portfolio simplification, standardization, modularity, and profitability improvement. Manage product performance, pricing, margin development, and business cases to ensure profitable growth of the assigned valve portfolio.

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable technical or economic field of study
6–9 years of professional experience in a B2B industrial environment, ideally in valves, piping systems, flow control, process equipment, water treatment, chemical process, pumps, or fluid-handling applications
3–5 years of experience in product management, portfolio management, technical sales, business development, or a similar role
Proven experience in product strategy, roadmap management, lifecycle management, business case preparation, product launches, and portfolio optimization
Strong commercial understanding, including pricing, margin management, profitability analysis, market segmentation, and value-based positioning
Strong ability to translate customer needs, market trends, and technical requirements into competitive product solutions
Proactive personality with ownership mindset, structured working style, and ability to coordinate different stakeholders across functions and regions
Strong communication skills and intercultural awareness; able to communicate clearly with technical, commercial, and management stakeholders
English at full professional proficiency. German skills are an advantage
Willingness to travel internationally up to approx. 15%
